Joey Guenzler is a proud Gomeroi man based in Brisbane who specialises in content creation and filmmaking. After studying a Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production (Griffith University), and with over seven years’ experience, Joey enjoys sharing stories surrounding local mob using digital media. Previously, Joey was a senior content officer for Deadly Choices working in the healthcare sector with local Indigenous communities to promote healthy living. As a journalist for NIT, Joey hopes to continue to use his skills and experience in digital media to help other First Nations peoples share their stories.
