Far North Queensland's powerhouse hip hop collective, R.3.B (Red Eye Balaz) will take to the stage at the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair's offical Opening Night.
Launching one of Australia's leading First Nations cultural celebrations, R.3.B is set to showcase an electrifying headline performance at the event's opening.
Taking place on July 10, CIAF's Opening Night is a ticketed event that transforms the entire Tanks Arts Centre precinct into an immersive cultural showcase featuring digital projections, curated food vendors, live music, Welcome to Country, and traditional dance.
Official proceedings will occur from 6pm to 7pm, with gates opening at 4pm and music continuing into the night.

R.3.B is a five-member crew — four lyricists and a DJ — each bringing individuality and a shared commitment to their craft. The group's performances are known for captivating crowds with thoughtful lyricism and energetic performances.
The group features artists, B.S.K (Bala Sound Killa), E.T.P (Elijah The Profit), TRUTHH, KALIKU MUN (Optimus Rhymes), and JAMMO.
From local venues to major stages like Dream Aloud and Crankworx and support slots for international legends like Coolio, R.3.B has built a cult following with their raw, resonant style and message: Hip hop from Australia—not Australian hip hop.
CIAF artistic director Teho Ropeyarn said that including R.3.B in this year's program was a bold and fitting way to channel the 2025 theme 'Pay Attention' through music.
"R.3.B are loud, proud, and entirely original—bringing voice to stories and truths that demand to be heard. Their music reflects the urgency, creativity, and cultural fire that CIAF champions," he said.

Tickets for CIAF's Opening Night at Tanks Arts Centre on Thursday 10th of July and all ticketed events between Thursday 10th of July and Sunday 13th of July are now available online.
