Waanyi and Mandandanji rapper Saytruegod? (STG) is set to return to stages across South East Queensland, announcing a five-date run of shows for early 2026.

The short tour follows his national run in support of his debut album BLAK, which saw him travel around Australia after its release to a strong reception.

Earlier this week, STG confirmed he will perform five shows, including two supporting Samoan and Aboriginal hip hop collective The 046.

He spoke about the connection he shares with the group, who recently released a song featuring Malyangapa and Barkindji rapper BARKAA.

"The 064 - those boys are hectic so I always like performing with those fullas," STG said.

"You can tell these fullas come from humble beginnings and we just relate as well and get along on and off the stage."

The two shows with The 046 will launch the tour at The Brightside in Brisbane and Solbar on the Sunshine Coast.

He will then headline at Rabbit Hole in Mackay and The Bank in Townsville before returning home to the Kingston Butter Factory.

The final show will see him perform alongside Harmony Amidst Destruction, presented by BEMAC.

Harmony Amidst Destruction is a dance-theatre work created in response to the Beirut Port explosion, blending breaking, live music and storytelling through performers Roj and Ralph Kabalan.

"Harmony Amidst Destruction - they just tear up the dance floor, express their stories through dance and it's such a pleasure watch and experience," he said.

STG said touring over the past year has shaped both his craft and perspective.

"Every performance has been my favorite because I've either learned something new or even experienced new things," he said.

"Even if things don't don't go to plan. I just love the journey.

"I'm super excited because there's a month of shows, keeping busy and I just love it."

He added the experiences have also clarified where his voice carries weight.

"I definitely see where my voice matters most and it's definitely on the hard topics," he said.

Released in 2025, BLAK blends nostalgic and high-energy hip hop with reflections on fatherhood, leadership and community.

The project features Indigenous and Pasifika artists GodFamilyHustle, Shely210, NATE G, Big Deej, Deltoy of ECB, Enzo and Stanley T, each contributing to its mix of personal storytelling and direct delivery.

STG said the album marked a turning point in his development.

"The listeners can expect to hear... a progressing like maturity and my understanding of the fight that our people face," he said.

"I love being the example of being the one that our children can look up to."

STG first rose to prominence in 2022 with his viral track Wicked, building a following through personal lyricism and live performances.

BLAK is available across major streaming platforms.
