Ngana Birrung is an extraordinary series of events set to light up Western Sydney this month.

On Thursday, 22 May, at the Campbelltown Arts Centre, Campbelltown, Friday 23 May at Sherringham Reserve, Cranebrook (Penrith), and Tuesday 27 May at Parramatta Square, First Nations artists will deliver concerts for the community.

Parramatta Ngana Birrung, which means "Black Stars" in Dharug, is a collaborative live music initiative across multiple Western Sydney councils. All shows are free and open to all ages.

The headliner for the concert series in 2025 will be Gomeroi artist Kobie Dee.

Supported by Create NSW, the concert series features rising talent and established First Nations artists. The Ngana Birrung program 2025 timeline will align with National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June).
