A new anthem recorded by young Indigenous voices in Central Australia is set to inspire action and reflection during National Reconciliation Week.

'It's a Beautiful Day (Wear it Yellow)', produced by Jimblah and featuring Zephie, Rosie and Teal, celebrates cultural strength, resilience and the journey toward change.

The song's lyrics reflect a message of hope and unity.

It's a beautiful day
I just wanna wake up
I just wanna see the sunshine
Mother nature, pretty like the moonlight
So when the day comes
We'll be alright - I know

Children's Ground Chair and Arrernte leader William Tilmouth said the anthem supports the broader campaign goals.

"If you change your thoughts, you can change the world for you and the people around you," he said.

"Wear it Yellow is about reflection, action and supporting children to thrive in their identity."

Wear it Yellow is a national initiative led by Children's Ground, encouraging schools, workplaces and communities to learn, act and raise funds in support of First Nations children and families.

Running during National Reconciliation Week from 27 May to 3 June, the campaign asks Australians to wear yellow as a sign of respect and solidarity.

Participants are urged to learn about shared histories, celebrate First Nations culture and take action toward a more just and equitable future.

It's a Beautiful Day (Wear it Yellow) is now available on streaming platforms.
