Hip-hop and pop-culture sensation Baker Boy has unveiled his new special edition album, DJANDJAY (Deluxe), released Friday.

The expanded 17-track edition of his acclaimed album DJANDJAY, features two previously unreleased songs, 'YOLŊU FEVER' and 'DISAPPEAR' feat. BVT.

The release follows Baker Boy's return to Yolŋu Country for a landmark performance at Garma Festival and a remarkable three-award sweep at the 2026 National Indigenous Music Awards.

He took home Song of the Year and Film Clip of the Year for 'THICK SKIN', his powerhouse collaboration with Thelma Plum, Emma Donovan, Kee'ahn and Jada Weazel, before claiming Album of the Year for DJANDJAY, which Baker Boy proudly dedicated to his late grandmother and album namesake.

For Baker Boy the deluxe edition was far from an afterthought but rather a final chapter of DJANDJAY.

"These tracks belong in the world of DJANDJAY," he said.

"I can't take them into the next era but I can't leave them on the cutting room floor. They make DJANDJAY whole."

Baker Boy shared his inspiration behind the track.

"YOLŊU FEVER was one of the earliest demos for DJANDJAY. I worked on it with Jacob Farah, and it has always been a favourite," he said.

"But idk, I think I let people get in my head about it; I got feedback that it was just another party track or that maybe it sounded too much like Gela.

"I really took my time on DJANDJAY to grow as a person and an artist. I was conscious of sharing emotions, allowing myself to be vulnerable, to be angry, and I think maybe to a degree it didn't let me feel enough joy.

"'YOLŊU FEVER' is that joy. I need that joy, DJANDJAY needs that joy and I think the world does too"."

Alongside the new music, Baker Boy also shares the official video for 'YOLŊU FEVER', once again collaborating with the team who brought the DJANDJAY five-part video series to life; Jordan Ruyi Blanch and Aurie Indianna.

The video plays into an edgier aesthetic for Baker Boy, taking a step back from fast paced cuts to build anticipation, with moody aesthetics. Symbolising a true transformation from Baker Boy to Baker Man, he delivers a staunch confident performance that still oozes that trademark Baker Boy charisma.

On the video Baker Boy said "It's kind of spooky kind of sexy. YOLŊU FEVER is cheeky and playful and I wanted to capture that in the visuals."
