The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation has announced its intention to expand, with the organisation seeking to add an event manager and social media assistant to its team.
As the organisation's flagship event, the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair grows in popularity, the DAFF team has identified the need for expansion within the company.
"The DAAF Foundation is expanding, and we're looking for a talented Event Manager and a creative Social Media Assistant to help us deliver even more outstanding events and projects in 2025 and beyond," the DAAF team said, via Instagram.
The DAFF team said successful candidates would be the "driving force" behind popular Indigenous events, with Mob encouraged to apply.
"As our Event Manager, you'll be the driving force behind key events like the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair, National Indigenous Fashion Awards, and Country to Couture. Working closely with our Director of Events, you'll plan and manage these exciting occasions, ensuring everything runs smoothly and successfully," the DAAF Team said.
"Our Social Media Assistant will support our Marketing Manager and Social Content Coordinator in managing daily content and administration of our social media channels, while also contributing to PR and media activities. Ideal candidates are social media savvy, eager to learn, and have skills like graphic design, copywriting, photography, or videography. Mob encouraged to apply.

"If you're a seasoned events leader and a social media wiz with a passion for culture, art, and making an impact, we'd love to hear from you."
Both roles present as an opportunity for those eager to become involved in the First Nations fashion sector and become involved in one of Australia's largest Indigenous-orientated events.
"We're on the lookout for stand-out individuals who share our passion and commitment to achieving real outcomes for First Nations Art Centres, their artists, and fashion and textiles designers," said the DAAF team.
Applications are now being accepted via the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair website.
