The Other Art Fair will celebrate the milestone of 100 global editions this October in Sydney.
Set to showcase several talented artists and creatives, this year the fair is focusing on profiling Australia's First Nations community and its talented artists.
One Indigenous artist exhibiting is First Nations artist, Wayde Clarke (artist name Alejandro Lauren).
Based in Newcastle, NSW, Clarke works as both an artist and art therapist. His works draw on his culture and experiences as a First Nations man. With this being Clarke's first time exhibiting at the fair, he is eagerly looking forward to meeting consumers and mingling with fellow art-goers.
"My work is heavily inspired by my culture, experiences, and a deep connection to emotions, nature, and community. I love creating pieces that celebrate life and the human experience, often with vibrant colours and abstract forms," he said.
"This is my first time showing at The Other Art Fair, and I'm really excited to be part of such a fantastic event."

When it comes to the work Clarke will be showing at the event, he shares that he will be debuting several new pieces that explore various themes.
"The work I'll be showing at the fair is deeply connected to my life experiences. Each piece is full of vibrant colours, representing the emotions and memories I've carried with me throughout my journey," Clarke told Style Up.
"I'll be debuting several new pieces that explore themes of connection, community, and personal growth. These works blend traditional Aboriginal art with contemporary expressions, bringing a sense of joy, reflection, and storytelling to the canvas. I can't wait to share these fresh creations with everyone."

The Other Art Fair director, Luke Potkin, said that this year's event is conscious of continuing to support the self-determination of First Nations artists.
"The Other Art Fair is committed to celebrating diversity and inclusivity in the art world, providing a platform for emerging artists from all walks of life, including First Nations creators," he said.
"The Other Art Fair is conscious of continuing to support the self-determination of First Nations artists so Indigenous perspectives and stories are seen, heard, and valued. The Other Art Fair ethos has always been to encourage and foster a richer, more inclusive dialogue within the global art community."
The fair has been pivotal for Australia - playing a crucial role in diversifying and challenging the status quo of the Australian art market, as well as kickstarting the careers of thousands of emerging and independent Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists across the country.

Presented by Saatchi Art, this year will see The Other Art Fair celebrate its milestone 100th global fair edition.
Marking over a decade of pioneering efforts in democratising the art world by connecting emerging and independent artists with art buyers globally, this year's fair is set to showcase a variety of emerging and established artists.
Since its inception in 2011, The Other Art Fair has provided a platform for nearly 10,000 artists to sell over 100,000 artworks, transforming the careers of countless emerging artists and generating more than $50,000,000 in art sales.

Now hosting 11 fairs annually across the UK, the US, and Australia, the hype surrounding The Other Art Fair's Sydney event has already begun.
"It's incredible to see how a small art event in London has grown into a worldwide phenomenon. Australia has been absolutely pivotal in that journey, with Sydney being the first market outside of the UK which began The Other Art Fair's growth. Together, Sydney and Melbourne have embraced The Other Art Fair with an energy and creativity that's unmatched, helping to shape it into the global movement it is today," said The Other Art Fair founder Ryan Stainer.
"With 18 editions down under and counting, the Australian market has truly been the beating heart of our success. We're celebrating the Aussie spirit that's made The Other Art Fair the ultimate anti-fair," he said.
The Other Art Fair Sydney will take place from October 3rd to October 6th at White Bay Cruise Terminal in Rozelle. Tickets are available for purchase online
