Billie Jean Hamlet the face of Seafolly Australia’s Destination Summer Campaign and new global ambassador

Walmatjarri/Yamatiji model Billie Jean Hamlet has added to her ever-growing career success with the announcement she is the face of Seafolly Australia's newest campaign, Destination Summer, as well as being the brands new global ambassador.

With the campaign photoshoot taking place in the model's hometown of Broome, Hamlet evidently could not have been more comfortable and excited to shoot in a location that holds great value in her heart and culture.

Having grown up in a remote community near Fitzroy Crossing called Ngurturwarta – prior to relocating to Perth – Hamlet's connection to country, culture and community is an aspect of her upbringing she continues to cherish.

"I am beyond excited to be the face of the Seafolly Australia Destination Summer campaign and their new global ambassador! This shoot was such a dream come true, not only because I get to represent such an iconic Aussie brand, but because it brought me back to my beautiful homeland, the Kimberley," Hamlet said.

"I know my sixteen-year-old self would be absolutely screaming right now! So much love for the entire team and everyone involved."

Destination Summer captures the beauty of Broome's untouched locations best travelled by 4WD. Inspired by raw untamed shores, sun-kissed sands, and endless horizons, the new campaign strives to embody the essence of adventure and discovery.

Home to sandy beaches, rugged terrains, and lush tropical palm trees, this new collection inspired by Broome incorporates new season hues that touch on the ever-changing colours of the ocean and surrounding environment.

Featuring a variety of swimwear separates, one-pieces and beach pop-overs the new collection includes a little slice of everything. With reversible swimwear and casual day-time attire, Seafolly has curated the Destination Summer range to be able to be worn from the beach to the bar.

Born on the beaches of Sydney, Australia, in 1975, Seafolly has been connecting women around the world through innovative swimwear for many years now.

This new collaboration and work with Hamlet is set to benefit both the Australian brand and the renowned local model. Hamlet being the brand's global ambassador is set to see the talented creative engage in a series of new projects.
