First Nations artist Sarrita King is collaborating with Samsung Australia on the launch of its full 2026 TV line-up, spanning premium Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, and Lifestyle TVs, as well as mainstream Mini LED and UHD TVs.
King's artwork is displayed on Samsung TVs, promoting the move towards visual technology being used to display art other than film and television.
It is not the first time King has worked with Samsung.
"In 2017, Samsung launched The Frame TV with 200 artworks and one of the galleries I had been working with for several years put my name and artworks forward," she said.
"I went on to be one of only two Australian artists included in the original line-up of 100 paintings from 37 artists featuring on the original Frame TV Art Store via my 'Lightning' series, marking almost a decade of my art reaching a global audience.
"Since then, I am still only one of two Australian artists on the (global) Samsung Art Store, which is what led to this organic opportunity to support Samsung launch its 2026 Australian line-up of TV products"

Only collaborating with brands and businesses that share her passion for art and First Nations culture, King said she knew Samsung was the right fit from the get-go.
"As with any collaboration, I look for a partnership with respect and integrity," she said.
"From the jump, I could see that Samsung is a platform of artistic expression, passionate about bringing art to the world with their TVs.
"Their vision was aligned with my work ethos of sharing stories of culture into new audiences."

Looking ahead King has several projects in the works, including an upcoming runway at Australian Fashion Week.
"Beyond my ongoing collaboration with Samsung across the Art Store, I am continuing to grow my art practice, with exhibitions and commissions always flowing and building," she said.
"I am passionate about finding new mediums to express my art, and in the last few years, I have been building a fashion label with my sister, KingKing.
"We are grateful and excited to be showing at this year's Australia Fashion Week."
