Jacky Winter Gallery opened submissions on Monday for its upcoming group exhibition, 'Assembly'.
Founded in 2008 by the global artist representation agency The Jacky Winter Group, the Gallery is a Collingwood-based exhibition space that has hosted shows by international and local artists such as Oslo Davis, Kimberly Engwicht, Phebe Schmidt, Prue Stent, Beci Orpin, and many more.
It has played an integral role in showcasing artists from Solid Lines, the First Nations-led illustration agency currently supported by The Jacky Winter Group.
Solid Lines was founded to re-imagine the future of representation, grounded by community and cultural safety. Forging strong and supportive pathways within Australia's commercial art and design industry, for First Nations creatives to thrive.

Each monthly exhibition at Jacky Winter Gallery is curated by gallery manager Shena Jamieson, with support from Tatanja Ross, Jacky Winter's Special Projects Lead. Their combined eye for creative talent results in a diverse collection of artworks and experiences, featuring artists from across the commercial art world.
This time, Shena and Tatanja are opening up the opportunity to both emerging and established artists to submit a piece for inclusion in Assembly, which will run from July 12 to August 16.
Jacky Winter Gallery exists to enable The Jacky Winter Group and Solid Line's collective of artists to flourish both commercially and creatively. It is not your ordinary gallery, but a non-traditional art space that works collaboratively with artists to create viewing experiences that reflect their practices.
If you are an emerging or established artist, the gallery is encouraging you to come forward and submit you creative piece for inclusion within the 2025 exhibition. While the gallery has only opened submissions today, the number of submissions is expected to only increase in the coming weeks.
