Māori roots reggae group Katchafire will return to Australia this November as part of their 'Collie Herb Man (Revival 2.0)' tour.
The band will perform 12 shows across the country, joined by special guest Reiki Ruawai and local supports.
The run includes stops in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, beginning at The River Hotel in Margaret River on 13 November and finishing at the Chelsea Heights Hotel in Melbourne on 30 November.
The tour coincides with the release of 'Collie Herb Man (Revival 2.0)' on 29 August, leading up to the full 'Revival 2.0' album release on 9 January 2026.
Singer and founding member Logan Bell said revisiting the band's early material was an important process.
"Originally recorded around 2000, the 'Revival' album was the band's first time together in a studio, our first time tracking and mixing and they weren't as hands-on as they are now with the process," Bell said.
Bell said the chance to rework the songs brought back pride in the group's beginnings.
"We felt that certain aspect of the finished album left us wanting, so remixing the album is something we've always talked about," he said.
"Twenty-three years on we got the chance, and it was really fun to hear the original studio performances.
"They still stand up today and it made me feel real proud of those early recordings and the OG team."
The Australia leg follows Katchafire's USA tour in September and precedes their 2026 New Zealand shows with UB40.
