Returning to the Sydney Opera House after a captivating Forecourt performance with Dan Sultan in 2025, award-winning singer-songwriter and indie pop siren, Jem Cassar-Daley, is set to make her solo headline debut in the Utzon Room as part of Vivid LIVE.
Daughter of country music legend Troy Cassar-Daley, the 25-year-old has established a reputation for her magnetic stage presence, soulful vocals and heartfelt storytelling since emerging onto the scene in 2021.
The Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung woman won the National Indigenous Music Award for New Talent of the Year with her debut EP, I Don't Know Who to Call (2022), earned the 2024 AIR Independent Song of the Year Award for her poignant King of Disappointment, and was nominated for the APRA Emerging Songwriter of the Year in 2025.
In between, Cassar-Daley has shared the stage with artists including Thelma Plum, Peter Garrett, Tim Finn and King Stingray, dazzling audiences with her beguiling live performances.
