First Nations fashion collective Ngali has made Australian history this year as the first Indigenous designer to host a standalone show during fashion week, as Ngali's designer Denni Francisco paves a pathway for First Nations Designers.
For Francisco, this is only a glimpse of what First Nations designers are capable of.

Ngali's 2023 collection, which debuted on Wednesday, is titled Murriyang, meaning 'skyworld' in the Wiradjuri language.
Most of the collection consisted of light soft colours of whites and blues.

Models walked in a snake formation down the runway.

Closing the show was renowned model Samantha Harris.
