With applications officially open for Country to Couture 2025, Indigenous Fashion Projects has announced a series of event Information sessions.
Aimed at Australian designers, artists and Art Centres who are considering applying for Country to Couture in 2025, the sessions aim to provide potential participants with all the necessary information while also answering any additional questions they may have.
With the number of applications increasing year after year, Indigenous Fashion Projects (IFP) concluded the sessions would be beneficial for both designers and the broader Country to Couture team.
"We are offering two information sessions for Indigenous Australian designers, artists and Art Centres considering applying to Country to Couture 2025," the Indigenous Fashion Projects team said in a statement.
"This is an opportunity to learn more about the application process, and ask any burning questions about your application and the event experience. We encourage anyone new to this process, as well as returning designers and artists to jump online for tips and info to improve your chances of success with your application."

Country to Couture executive director Claire Summers noted 2025 will mark the event's 10th anniversary.
"This marks a significant milestone for Australian First Nations Fashion, given that the event was a key catalyst for so much growth in our sector, including the establishment of our Indigenous Fashion Projects program. We welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander fashion and textile designers from across Australia to apply - we want to celebrate creatives who have designed their very first collections, right through to those who have established labels and are taking the fashion world by storm," she said.
"Country to Couture will always focus on providing a vibrant and safe space for fashion creatives, whether they be designers, models, stylists, hair and makeup artists, videographers, photographers, or producers, to learn and to be connected to this remarkable creative community.
"In 2025, we will honour the journeys of Australian Indigenous fashion designers over the past decade, and we hope to inspire the next generation of creatives!."
